November 2008 Сaptains-instructors from Marmaris visit Under the program of the international development «Marine Russian Project«, our enterprise was visited by delegation of captains-instructors of mega-yachts from Marmaris (Turkey). Visit was carried out within the limits of scientifically-practical actions on an exchange of experience in questions of increase of safety of navigation small sized vessels in the high seas and areas adjacent with cargo and passenger terminals of commercial ports. During visit, visitors have familiarized with a simulator on maneuvering small sized vessel. For maneuvering it had been offered various types yachts and boats. To captains real situations for a maneuvering with ships in area of the Nevskaya guba of gulf of Finland, on Koshkinskiy a waterway of Ladoga lake, and also done conditions on call in the some of yachts-marinas of St.Petersburg have been created. Our colleagues from Turkey have highly estimated opportunities of a simulator on maneuvering a small sized vessel, having noted, however, that any simulator is only transitive, but very important, a stage to an opportunity of independent driving of a yacht or a boat. One of the cores and the closing stages of training of navigators including yachts and mega-yachts is real sail practice. By results of visit, the decision on creation of joint working group on the organization of practical perfection of captains and members of crews of yachts and mega-yachts in region of east Mediterranean where climatic conditions allow to use small sized fleet all-the-year-round. Besides our Turkish friends have expressed desire to visit Saint-Petersburg during summer navigation with the purpose in real conditions to test an opportunity independent (certainly, as trainees) navigations in the Neva-Ladoga area of waterways and navigation. It is thought, that such experience will be important also to the Russian party. It will help to understand, how adapts the foreign navigator in our waters and that else it is necessary to make that our inland water ways became accessible to tourist and commercial visits yachtsmen from other countries.
