From 09 to15 of July, 2009 of MARINERUS Ltd. carried out technical management and service of fleet of the St.-Petersburg stage of the international regatta of educational sailing ships «THE TALL SHIPS’ RACES 2009».
The international regattas of educational sailing ships it is regularly spent since 1956. Races are spent by the international noncommercial organization Sail Training International – the world Association of educational sailing vessels.
The prestige of a regatta is underlined by that in the majority of the countries-participants as cartridges of actions for regatta reception the first persons of the state act.
The fleet of educational sailing vessels worldwide totals an order of 300 ships. This year, under the Russian flag in a regatta took part 5 large sailing ships: "Mir", "Kruzenstern", "Sedov", "Nadezhda", "Pallada" and more than 10 small ships and yachts. Annually in a regatta participates from 50 to 120 ships. This year to St.-Petersburg has arrived about hundred sailing vessels.
For four days of a coastal stage of a regatta service department MARINERUS has processed and has executed 38 demands on repair of the main and auxiliary engines, ship and coastal electricians, a rigging, the pump, refrigerating and fire-prevention equipment, radio navigating devices, berthing constructions. Experts of mobile service brigades’ MARINERUS bore round-the-clock watch and operatively reacted to yachtsmen demands.
High quality of work of technical service MARINERUS has been noted at total session of organizing committee of a regatta.
