  In the summer of 2009 employees of Scientific-industrial enterprise "MARINERUS" have spent a number of practical researches around east part of Gulf of Finland.


  For development and unification of control systems by navigation of small size fleet of technical possibilities of the organization of the monitoring system international yachting and boat transit around the Nevskaya guba have been investigated.
 Features of application of technology of the Automated control system of movement of small size fleet (ACS MSF) for the decision of problems of the control position of boats, yachts, «mega - yachts» and other small size vessels in this area have been considered.
 In particular, the analysis of influence of a condition of an information channel of a blocking relief and mutual moving yacht transponders concerning base stations on range of action AIS for small size vessels in the Nevskaya guba has been made.
 AIS technology - one of the major subsystems of positioning, monitoring and the management, for the ACS MSF, firstly offered in the Nevskaya guba.
 It is known that by transfer of digital AIS messages of value of potentially-achievable radiuses of operative ranges of coastal base AIS stations lie in limits from several navigation miles to their several tens. Presence of mutual moving of small size vessels concerning base stations and a blocking relief can essentially affect reduction of radius of an operative range. The quantitative analysis of the specified harmful stochastic factors is made. Use possibility yacht AIS transponder with target capacity up to 2 Wt that allows starting AIS introduction, for small size fleet, around the Nevskaya guba is established.
 After checking of theoretical calculations with the received practical data it became clear that the problem of optimization of operative ranges of coastal base stations AIS for needs of ACS MSF is solved.
 The important practical value for use AIS in ACS MSF around the Nevskaya guba is played by minimization of necessary level of a signal transmission for yacht transponders, for example to target capacity in limits from 2 to 12 Watt (class AIS-1). It will allow to lower essentially in VHF a range of sea frequencies of 157-162 MHz mutual hindrances of simultaneously working radio means and, hence, to raise electromagnetic security of information AIS channels.
 Use of AIS-transponder technology can help is much more effective to organize the control over small size vessels, and also their search and rescue in emergencies. Safety and economic efficiency of operation of all transport process directly depend on it.
