The Scientific-Industrial Enterprise "MARINERUS" activity is directed on development of scientific in the field of sea, river and small sized fleet, on increase of a level of safety of navigation of vessels, both in Russian, and in the international waters. The project is self-supporting and the part of profit on commercial activity goes on scientific researches and development.
At given stage, MARINERUS works in following directions of scientific activity:

1. Research of principles of construction modern Automated managing systems for ships traffic in sea water and river area in structures of River Information Services.

2. Definition of features of movement and the analysis of the basic characteristics of transport process small sized fleet in water areas of the European countries.

3. The analysis of the basic characteristics of transport process small sized fleet on the river Neva and the Nevskaya guba.

4. Creation of the block diagram-logic of the Automated managing system by movement small sized fleet in the Nevskaya guba and the Neva-Ladoga area of waterways and navigation.

5. Development of topology of construction of a subsystem of VHF-radio communication for Automated managing system by movement small sized fleet of gulf of Finland

6. Development of topology of construction of AIS-subsystem Automated managing system by movement small sized fleet of gulf of Finland

7. Performance of theoretical and practical researches by definition of quality of ships positioning on internal waterways at use of the mixed constellation of systems GLONASS, GPS.

8. Performance of theoretical and practical researches by definition of quality of transfer of differential amendments, including wide zone systems

9. Definition of efficiency of monitoring and management of movement small sized fleet on the basis of the automated identification systems
